Bombing for Oil

USA military intervention in Venezuela was not an altruistic or heroic act. Their intentions are like MC Escher’s optical illusions. Initially you see one shape, but as you get closer to it, you understand there is something off.

This act was not because of drug trafficking. It was not because of an illegitimate president. Like so many times before, it was about the enrichment of the USA at the expense of a poor and vulnerable country.
