Storm Kristin

Storm Kristin hit Portugal in January 2026 with a force never seen before. 🌧️🌬️ The center of Portugal was particularly hit with lots of damage and even deaths. There are so many unusual images from the storm, with overturned cars, a destroyed airfield, and even a Ferris wheel taken down by the wind. Infrastructures, animals, and humans were all greatly affected by this monumental storm. And much needs to be reconstructed or repaired urgently.
Some rulers still ignore or minimize global warming, but these kinds of natural disasters are occurring more recurrently and stronger than ever, everywhere in the world. Whether it is floods, winds, or fires, this cannot be ignored. We must pressure governments to take real measures and make big polluting industries take their responsibilities and stop blaming consumers or individuals. This responsibility should start at the source, and we should not allow these companies to pass the buck to the consumers and hope things will get better.
